After her passing, we were left with a profound inheritance: a treasure trove of art that deserved to be seen and celebrated beyond the confines of a frame. Gifting Spree was born from a desire to transform her powerful creations into "wearable art." We wanted to give her work a new life, allowing it to move through the world on scarves, accessories, and apparel—each piece telling a story, each design a fragment of her soul.

Our mission is twofold: to celebrate art and to inspire connection.

To Celebrate Art: We meticulously translate Laila Shawa’s iconic works onto high-quality, everyday items. From the soft drape of a silk scarf to the fine detail on a tote bag, we ensure that the integrity and spirit of the original artwork shine through. We are not just selling products; we are offering a piece of art history.

Welcome to Gifting Spree, a tribute to the legacy of the late Palestinian artist, Laila Shawa. Launched in March 2024, our mission is to bring her unique and masterful artwork to life, fulfilling her dream of expressing her style through fashion and accessories.

Laila yearned to see her work on scarves, and we’ve made that dream a reality. We’ve reproduced her powerful piece, “Palestinian Poppy Field,” on pure luxury silk scarves, offering a contemporary twist on the traditional Palestinian kuffiyah headscarf. This artwork intertwines poppies with the kuffiyah mesh, symbolizing the Palestinian reality and saga. We’ve launched the Poppy Fields in classic white and inverted black, and we’re excited to announce the upcoming release of the final series in purple.

As the demand for these scarves grew, and in light of the challenging circumstances faced by Palestinians in occupied Gaza and the West Bank, we felt inspired to expand our range. We’ve pushed Laila Shawa’s artwork beyond silk scarves, creating unique abstract designs that resonate with those who feel a deep connection to Palestine during these difficult times.

Today, Gifting Spree offers a wide array of products, including abstract art, swimwear, footwear, fashion accessories, and bags. Like the phoenix rising from the ashes, we see a rebirth of nationalism, national pride, and political and cultural identity, much like the Palestinian cause itself.

Looking ahead, we’re committed to growing even further. We’ll focus on delivering the finest quality products, customized or printed on demand, and seek out rare artisans who can redefine the art of accessories and unique gift items.

For you to make an informed purchase decision

Dear valued customers,

We would like to inform you about our Print-On-Demand service. All items, with the exception of the Mille Notti Collection of Scarves, are produced using this method.

When you place an order online through our site, your order is automatically placed with our partner factories at Gifting Spree. They then take over the process of producing the item, customising the artwork, and printing. The fulfillment is done on behalf of Gifting Spree.

Once the order is dispatched, it gets drop shipped directly to you. A notification will be sent to you advising on the order status.

So how long can orders take to reach me?

Please note that all print-on-demand orders can take anywhere from 10 to 15 working days up to as much as 22 working days at most (depending on product). We kindly ask for your patience and understanding that these items are made to order and are not stocked.

Selection of Delivery Methods

Again, this goes back to the factories that are assigned to produce your order. Sometimes they use fast courier services like DHL or Fedex and sometimes they use the county postal service with trackable shipping (tracking number). Because of the vast range of products on offer- it is difficult for us to control the speed and type of service.
